Who is your Customer?
Everyone has a customer to serve.
In Dentistry, you have often many customers to follow, the patients, the Dentists, the employed team.. But who is coming first? Who should have priority?
Everyone has a customer to serve, but people in an organisation are the first to be served... if the service is right, they will take care of your customer.. if there are grounds of complaints, then it is time to review what your people service is offering! Dentistry is not any different... your employed team and Dentists are coming first, as they will take care of your patients, as long as their services and tools are provided.
Often retention strategies are not so complicated, but we tend to complicate tasks and processes.
My approach is very simple and every company should follow this:
1) Retention starts at leadership level, by agreeing what to solve. Clarity!
2) Really listen to employees feedback.. a given Gift!
3) Follow through their feedback.. Credibility and Trust will be built!
4) Go Deep with Exit Interviews.. a call for all the HR professionals to make it happen!
5) Invest in employee growth Opportunities. A culture to grow!
